Today in college we had an assessment in hardware and systems. We were given a load of Microsoft Word information on Friday about different parts inside computers. We were to revise this information over the weekend which i did. We the had the assessment this afternoon which i just found out i PASSED!:). Today we had another assessment on 3 different jobs that we could lead to from doing a digital media course.

September the 11th, not the happiest day for everyone in the world. Then again i found the most addictive/annoying game i think Ive every come across. http://www.onemotion.com/flash/snake-game/ I'd only visit this site if you have a large amount of spare time on your hands lol.
Today in college we had to go on the website www.bubbl.com and create two mind maps. the first mind map was to be on different types of software, the second about different types of hardware.

Today in college we visited the teach-ICT website and done the ecdl module 1 questions to revise for an assesment that we will be getting given.

We then had web design, where we used Adobe Dream Weaver cs3 to create a site which had a home page, about page, contact page etc...

Today in college we carried on writing about sectors of the multimedia industry, I chose to write about Pixar animation studios.I started by going onto the official Pixar website and saved some images collecting myself an album of pictures i could use to make my Microsoft Word document. I then visited Wikipedia and searched for Pixars history and upcoming films. Finally I put all of the information together.


Today i also done my final sector of the 3, I chose to do this one on EA games aimed at the EA Sports area. I used the same method to collect the information for the document. I went on the official website first and collected images then went onto Wikipedia and got some information which i put into my own words.

Today in college we had an assessment and had to write about 3 sectors of the multimedia industry. I firstly chose to do one on Rockstar the gaming company based in Edinburgh and worldwide known for their game series Grand Theft Auto. I wrote my first piece on Microsoft Word and added images and facts about the company.

Today on college we used adobe illustrator to get pictures of fish and copied them. We then opened adobe flash CS3 and used it to animate a fish swimming in a pond and moving across the screen as if it was swimming.to inspire us to do this we watched a short movie by simone legno who is a skateboard deck designer for tokidoki. after watching his short movie we watched a tutorial on the adobe website showing us how to animate the fish to move across the screen and move up and down making it look like it was swimming.

Simone Legno is a designer from Rome who is known for his unique characters and colorful style and has grown his passion into a global brand.

1. Today in college we used adobe flash CS3 to write our names in a font that looked as if it was hand written. we then used the rubber tool to make the gradually name gradually fade away. Then we made stickmen with faces and made them do the same.
