Digital photography is one of several forms of digital imaging. Digital images are also created by non-photographic equipment such as computer tomography scanners and radio telescopes. Digital images can also be made by scanning conventional photographic images.
A digital photographer can work in many different areas of photography whether it’s in a group or on your own.
To become a digital photographer you would have to go to university or college to study photography.

Film Animator
An animator is an artist who creates multiple images called frames and Key frames that form an illusion of movement called animation when rapidly displayed. Animators can work in a variety of fields including film, television, video games, and the internet. Usually, an animation piece requires the collaboration of several animators. The methods of creating the images or frames for an animation piece depend on the animators' artistic styles and their field.
Other artists who contribute to animated cartoons, but who are not animators, include layout artists (who design the backgrounds, lighting, and camera angles), storyboard artists (who draw panels of the action from the script), and background artists (who paint the "scenery"). Moreover, voice actors, musicians and other talent may be added as necessary to give the animation additional depth.
Someone would get the qualifications to become a film animator by going to college, university or trying to find a job within a company that does film animation.
You could progress by learning more software packages and to greater proficiency. You could project manage the development of animations. You could also become a senior animator who might help out other animators or junior trainee animators.

A video game developer is a software developer (a business or an individual) that creates video games.
